Functional Consultant – Multiple Positions

The Gig:

The Functional Consultant brings to the table a combination of Dynamics 365 or other CRM expertise, Business Analysis, Training, Consulting and Project Management skills. You are comfortable managing groups of internal and external stakeholders to fulfill key strategic initiatives related to Customer Experience technologies. 


You will be a key participant in the selection of the most effective solution, capturing of needs and working with an architect to identify the optimal design, manage requirements throughout the project life cycle, and ensure IT deliverables meet the requirements of our clients.


The Functional Consultant is tasked to work on Projects involving the onboarding of our customers on to Foundry’s award-winning Dynamics 365 ISV Solutions. A trained Functional Consultant will need to be extremely knowledgeable in Foundry’s Product, have a comprehensive understand of the higher education industry, challenges and opportunities and be comfortable managing client relationships and project success.


The Functional Consultant forms the key bridge between Foundry, The Product and The Customer being able to translate product capabilities to the Customer and put forward customer needs to the Product & Engineering team for consideration.

 

About you:

  1. At least two years of demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Owner or Business Consultant on an IT product
  2. End to end understanding and some experience with any Software Development Lifecycle Methodology
  3. Ability to adapt to and learn new technology and demonstrated experience with enterprise business applications such as ERP and CRM systems
  4. Ability to manage the requirements-elicitation process with internal and external clients of varying technical skills, and directs the clients to solutions consistent with satisfying their key business objectives
  5. Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Moqups, Balsamiq and Visio
  6. Experience in documenting business and functional requirements
  7. Ability to train non-technical users on business application software
  8. Ability to perform Quality Assurance Testing

The Nice-To-Have’s:

  1. Experience with CRM Systems
  2. Experience with Higher Education
  3. CBAP/IIBA or Business Analysis/Product Management courses/certification
